Surface Memories

Some instances of looking where you’re going, noticing where you are, and trying to solidify that you are always being held together by something.

Being contained. Decorating, confinement, something written on the wall, collaging, touching, remembering that we are being held always, by a human, by something physical, by the earth, and never floating unconfined. Feet planted firmly on the ground, pink surfaces, only shallow impressions, great aspirations from the littlest details. I need to solidify that I am always being held together by something, and if it is resplendent in it’s dimensions, then so be it. These are some instances of looking in front of me, noticing where I am, and trying hard to capture that moment so I can be grounded in my physicality always.
